Shahid Afridi one hand maximum against Warne

Shahid Afridi has been one of the best all-rounders in the recent times. He is one of the leading wicket takers in the history of ODI cricket. Afridi has been one of the main faces of power hitting and there is hardly any other player who matches his class.

Afridi was equally good against the spinner and the pacers. Here wee sees him getting on top of the world’s best leg spinner Shane Warne. Afridi did not hit this shot from both the hands as normal batsmen do.

It was a flighted ball and Afridi used his feet and launched the ball over Warne’s head. Now the moment the ball made an impact on the bat, Afridi lost the grip from his right hand. It must have slipped off the handle of the bat.

The ball was middle and the one hand force took it over the fence and into the sight screen it hit. This was a brilliant hit. Afridi did not stop himself from completing his shot. He went with it and achieved the desired results. It was a massive hit from the Pakistani all-rounder. Afridi has hanged his boots in ODI and Test cricket and soon he will say his goodbye to the T20 as well.
