Pakistan team practice session in a new way in Australia

Pakistan cricket team as we all know has reached Australia. Their second major contest will start here from December 14. Pakistan travelled to the eastern parts of the world last month. They first had 2 tests against New Zealand.

Pakistan lost both of them. Now they are in Australia where men in green will play a full series. At the moment Australia is the favorite. Despite being thrashed by the hands of the South African side, Australia has again stood up defeating the New Zealand in the Chappell Hadley ODI series though one game is remaining in the series but Australia has won the first two games.

Now in Australia the wickets are fast and bouncy. In New Zealand the tracks are fast but they are not that much bouncy. So here Pakistan batting line might be exploited more because with pace we will see bounce as well.

The series will start with three test matches to be played first. Now in test format Pakistan has done well. So there are chances that they might give a fight to the Australian side in the longer version of the game. Pakistan team has adapted a new methodology to counter the bounce and pace.

Here we can see Pakistan team captain Misbah having a batting practice with the help of a slab. This slab is placed in the middle and the ball is hit on this slab. This produces more bounce and gives more pace to the ball. Misbah is seen practicing pull shots.

Now this one shot will be very important. The ball will come at a short length most of the time and hence to counter it you have to pull it. Pakistan chances will increase if they get some good pull shots executed. Not only Misbah but the other batters are also given batting practices on these slabs. Now this method has been applied before as well. Now we will have to wait and watch how this goes this time. This is a very important tour and Pakistan has never won in Australia. May be this time they might are able to change the history.
