Indian left handed opening batsman Gautam Gambhir has hurt his shoulder again. He is currently retired hurt and his injury looks bad at this moment. Gambhir already was struggling with his right shoulder and now he is not been able to even move it.

The left-hander had some issues with his right shoulder. He was seen having some problems with it in the recent past. Now this has turned uglier. Gambhir hit the ball down to the square leg of Boult. The ball was bowled around his pads.

Gambhir clipped it down to the square leg region. Now the opening batter thought that there was an easy two present there. But the fielder moved pretty quickly and reached the ball long before Gambhir expectation.Gambhir had to scamper back for the second run. Right near the crease he made a long leap. He did make it into the crease before the wicket keeper took the bails out. This dive made things worse for the Indian opener.

He smashed his right shoulder on the ground and he was in pain immediately. He did not move much and asked for the Indian physio. The physio tried to move his shoulder but Gambhir was in so much pain that there was no motion in his shoulder.

He had to walk his way back to the Indian dressing room. He was hurt and the pain was all over his face. This does not look good at all. Gambhir is making his comeback into the Indian national test squad and an injury will hurt his emotions. Team India is in a great position here. They have batted and bowled well in the first innings. New Zealand will struggle on this wicket in the second innings.
