Babar Azam gets another hundred, West Indies, 2d ODI

Pakistan after bumpy rides in the first few overs are back in the game. The Pakistani openers failed today. Azhar Ali was trapped lbw by Jason Holder. While Sharjeel Khan was out to Joseph. Pakistan at that point went under pressure.

But then it was the batting pair of Shoaib Malik and Babar Azam who held the innings together. It was a fantastic partnership that Pakistan right back on the track. The two not only played some really good shots but their running between the wickets was excellent.Malik, in particular, played some huge shots. He hits 6 six sin his 90. He was constantly behind the left arm spinner Benn. Malik hit most of his sixes against him. He used his feet nicely to Benn and all his shots against him were humongous.

On the other hand, it was Babar Azam. It was another beautifully well-crafted innings from him. He was hitting the ball in the gaps and getting his singles and double. He let Malik take the charge most of the time. He knew that his senior partner should strike the ball hard.

Pakistan is looking really strong at this moment. Babar has crossed his hundred. This is his second ton in ODI cricket. Two back to back hundreds for him. Sarfraz is looking solid as well. Pakistan, this time, looks to get a total over 300.

This is a pretty important stage of the game and they will need to keep wickets in hand. Pakistan often loses some important wickets in these situations as seen in the past. Babar Azam has done it once again. This is his second hundred in ODI cricket. Second in this series. He was an absolute treat to watch. Babar Azam is certainly a great induction in this Pakistani side.
