Amir lethal bouncer, Pakistan vs West Indies, 2nd ODI 2016

Pakistan has made 337 runs in their first inning. This is a pretty strong total from the home side. Finally, Pakistan has made another 300 plus runs total. This is the second time in three ODIs that they have achieved these many runs.

Pakistan chases 300 plus runs against England in the last series. It was the final ODI of the series. In the first one against West Indies, they could have gotten to 300 but they lost too many wickets in the final overs. Which limited them to just 284.

In this match, Pakistan made sure they keep wickets in hand. Today it was again Babar Azam who played a wonderful knock. He made 123 runs. This is his second ODI hundred in this series. His maiden came in the opening encounter of the series.

Babar was exceptional again. He maintained a healthy strike rate. He rotated the strike regularly with Shoaib Malik with whom he hit a major partnership for Pakistan. Malik made 90. He too deserved a hundred but unfortunately he did not get one.

Pakistan right at the end had Sarfraz who brisk fifty ensured that his side gets well over 300. This is a combined effort of Babar, Shoaib, and Sarfraz that Pakistan has made 337 runs. West Indies will find it difficult to chase these many runs.

Mohammad Amir has just bounced Bravo. This is a pretty lethal ball and Bravo did not see it coming. The ball went right towards his face. He tries to duct in and fails. The ball hit him and the back piece of the helmet breaks out. This will hurt Bravo for sure.
